Responsibilities of Clean Water Professionals Workshop

Event Description
This course is PA DEP approved for 3.5 wastewater contact hours, Course ID 7122.  

Course Overview
This course will describe the importance of good communication and establishing a communication system with your system owners, customers and regulatory agencies, so that you will be ready to accept and carry out the responsibilities and rewards of being a Clean Water Professional. 
 
The course will include an introduction to and discussion of the Wastewater Operator “Code of Ethics”; discussion of asset management/ sustainable infrastructure, long range planning and effective communication with board members/system owners; discussion of the various laws and regulations the impact wastewater operators, including the Operator Certification Act, the NPDES permit, and the regulatory review of non-compliance; and an overview of security and emergency planning.

Non-Member Fee        $105
The registration deadline is March 14th.  Registration is limited to 35 attendees.

Approximately one week prior to the workshop date, registrants will receive an email reminder which will include the gate acess code needed to enter the facility and instructions on where to park.
