A One-Day Utility Management Conference
This conference is presented by the PWEA Utility Management Committee. It has been approved for 2.0 PA DEP conference credits for both drinking water and wastewater operator licenses. A total of 7 Professional Development Hours may be earned by attendees.

Conference Overview
This conference will provide attendees with the tools and methods to reduce costs, increase revenues, and improve decision making on maintaining assets and making investments in wastewater infrastructure. It will include sessions on cost savings, regionalization and contracting out, public-private partnerships, energy savings and resource recovery, full cost pricing and affordability, alternative sources of revenue, and the guaranteed energy savings program. The speakers will bring real life examples of wastewater utilities that have actually reduced costs and generated alternative revenue, and recommendations on how you can do the same, as well as lessons learned and how strategic planning can help to avoid financial pitfalls.

Cancellations received in writing 4 weeks prior to the date of the conference will receive a full refund less a $30 administrative fee. No refunds will be made after that date. Substitutions may be made until the registration deadline and must be made in writing, accompanied by a registration form for the substitute.
