2021 PennTec Annual Conference

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. YOU MAY REGISTER ON-SITE AT THE PWEA ON-SITE REGISTRATION DESK IN THE KILIMANJARO LOBBY ON SUNDAY, 6/20, 3-5PM; ON MONDAY, 6/21, BEGINNING AT 7:15AM; OR ON TUESDAY, 6/22, BEGINNING AT 7AM. WHEN YOU REGISTER ONSITE, YOU WILL NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER OF LIABILITY FORM IN ORDER TO BE REGISTERED AND TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONFERENCE.
On behalf of the PWEA Board of Directors and the 2021 Conference Committee, we invite you to attend PWEA's 92nd Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (PennTec 2021) on June 20-23 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center, Pocono Manor, PA.
After careful consideration and many discussions, the PWEA Board of Directors has decided to move forward with an in-person Annual Conference for 2021. Any government restrictions and/or health and safety protocols in place at the time of the Conference will be strictly followed. Current information about hotel protocols can be found at:

All Conference registrants/participants will be required to sign a Liability Waiver in order to attend the PennTec Conference. Anyone not submitting a signed form will not be permitted to attend the Conference. Anyone who is currently registered and doesn't return a signed Liability Waiver Form will be given a full refund of the registration fee paid.
ADVANCE REGISTRATION: Conference registration fees are lower if you register by May 31st. Fees are shown on the Conference Registration Form. ADVANCE REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JUNE 4TH.
This year's Conference Program includes a wide range of topics related to water quality. In addition to the Conference technical sessions, we are also presenting workshops which have been approved by the PA DEP for additional contact hours for wastewater and drinking water operator licenses. By attending these workshops, you could earn up to 15.0 DEP Contact Hours, or up to 15.0 Continuing Education, in just a few days! Workshop information is shown on the Workshop Information PDF.
Remember, workshops offering hour-for-hour operator contact hours are available at no additional charge to those who register for the Full Conference using the Conference Registration Form. Those who register for any category less than the Full Conference may add workshops for the fees listed on the Workshop Registration Form. Seating is limited so you must register in advance to reserve your seat. Information about workshops can be found by downloading the PennTec 2021 Workshop Information. A very important part of the Conference is the Vendor Exhibition. By visiting the exhibits, you will gain insight into new and innovative solutions and discover new products and equipment that will help you do your job in a more efficient and safer manner. We encourage you to talk to the vendors about what is most important to you.
The Conference includes networking opportunities for you to meet and interact with your colleagues. The Students & Young Professionals (SYP) Committee is organizing a Community Service Project on Sunday. The President's Reception will be in the Exhibit Hall on Monday evening, followed by the Annual PWEA Awards Ceremony and Reception. and then the NEW Tailgate Dinner and Cornhole Tournament. On Tuesday, there will be a Womens' Initiative Summit and Luncheon networking event. The Operations Challenge, Beer and Pretzels Reception and Operator Olympics will be on Tuesday afternoon. The Annual PWEA Golf Outing will be on Wednesday.
PLEASE NOTE: The Community Service Project will start earlier on Sunday morning than previously stated. Participants will meet at the main entrance to the Convention Center so carpools can be organized and the group can depart at 8:30am.

Cancellation/Substitution Policy No refunds granted after May15th. A $50 cancellation fee will be assessed on refund requests received by May 15th. Refunds must be requested in writing. Substitutions are permitted with a $25 per person substitution fee. Substitutions may be made until May 31st and must be made in writing, accompanied by a new registration form.
