2017 PWEA Reception Sponsorship Opportunities

PWEA Announces the 14th Annual Reception at WEFTEC
The PWEA’s 14th annual reception will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017, 4:30-6:00pm, at the WEF Headquarters hotel, the Hilton Chicago, during WEFTEC.17 in Chicago.  This will be a joint reception with the Chesapeake Water Environment Association.  CWEA members will be invited to attend the reception, along with PWEA members.
Your company’s support of PWEA and this networking event would be greatly appreciated.  The meet-and-greet cocktail reception will provide you with an opportunity to network with current or potential clients from  Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.  Four PWEA sponsorship levels are available to choose from:
            Platinum Level @ $750    
            Gold Level @ $650    
            Silver Level @ $550    
            Bronze Level @ $450

Dual Sponsorship Discount – because this is a joint reception, PWEA and CWEA are both looking for sponsors.  If your company wishes to sponsor both PWEA and CWEA, a discounted rate is available (your organization will receive a rebate check from each association).  If your company elects to sponsor at the Platinum Level, your organization will receive a $200 rebate ($100 from each association); Gold Level sponsors will receive a $150 rebate ($75 from each association); Silver Level sponsors will receive a rebate of $100 ($50 from each association); and Bronze Level sponsors will receive a $50 rebate ($25 from each association).  Separate sponsor signs will be displayed by each association, giving your company twice the exposure.  (Company contact person will be asked to provide a colored company logo for use on the Reception signs; deadline for receipt of logos is August 23rd.)
Company names for all PWEA sponsorships received by August 23rd will be included on the reception invitation sent to PWEA members.  Company logos will be printed on signs displayed at the reception.  All PWEA sponsors will be acknowledged in PWEA’s Keystone Water Quality Manager magazine.  PWEA sponsors are also eligible for one complimentary listing in the 2018 Annual Business Directory, which will be published in the first quarter 2018 issue of the Keystone Water Quality Manager.  The Annual Business Directory Placement form must be submitted for the complimentary listing to be published.  In addition, all Reception sponsors will be acknowledged in PWEA’s monthly eNewsletter:  Platinum Level for six months; Gold Level for three months; Silver Level for two months; and Bronze Level for one month.  The eNewsletter Sponsorship form must be submitted in order to take advantage of this special offer.

PWEA Private Property Inflow/Infiltration One-Day Conference

This conference is presented by the PWEA Collection Systems Committee.  It is PA DEP approved for 2.0 wastewater contact hours, Course IDs 7590 & 7591.  It also qualifies for a total of 6.0 Professional Development Hours.

Course Overview
This one-day conference is meant for municipal managers, engineers and other collection system professionals to share their experiences in dealing with inflow & infiltration issues on private property. I&I is a very serious issue that impacts almost every collection system in Pennsylvania. With 50% or more of every collection system being on the private side, learning how others deal with this tough issue provides value to the long-term goal of making each system work better.

Learning Objectives
At the end of this conference, the attendee will gain an understanding of:
  • How the Pennsylvania DEP works cooperatively with municipalities and their engineers to reduce private I/I sources;
  • How four selected municipalities in Pennsylvania have addressed private property I/I, from trailer parks to McMansions to commercial properties; and
  • How other attendees have dealt with, or plan to deal with, private property issues as they relate to collection systems.

*To qualify for the Member Rate, you must be a PWEA member or a WEF member with PWEA selected as your State Association. 
The registration deadline is September 28th.

Cancellation & Substitution Policy
Cancellations received in writing 4 weeks prior to the date of the conference will receive a full refund less a $30 administrative fee.  No refunds will be made after that date.  Substitutions may be made until the registration deadline and must be made in writing, accompanied by a registration form for the substitute.

Tabletop Display at Private Property I/I One-Day Conference

The Pennsylvania Water Environment Association’s (PWEA’s) Private Property Inflow & Infiltration Conference will be held on October 17, 2017, in Kulpsville, PA.   

We are pleased to offer tabletop exhibit space to provide vendors the opportunity to promote their I&I-related products, equipment and services!
EXHIBITSA limited number of TABLETOP spaces are available on a first-come basis.  The fee for tabletop space is $200, which includes one draped table and one chair.  Electric is not included.  If you need electric service, you will be provided with information to make those arrangements directly with the hotel. 
Exhibits will be in the same room as the classroom sessions and meals.  Following are the times when class will not be in session.  These are the times when the attendees can visit the displays and talk with you about your services.

Displays should be set up by 7:15am on the day of the conference.  Displays should be dismantled immediately following the conclusion of the conference.
