PennTec 2018 Annual Conference
06/03/18 - 06/06/18

On behalf of the PWEA Board of Directors and the 2018 Conference Committee, we invite you to attend PWEA's 90th Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (PennTec 2018) on June 3-6 at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center in Hershey, PA.

This year's Conference Program includes a wide range of topics related to water quality.  In addition to the Conference technical sessions, we are also presenting workshops which have been approved by the PA DEP for additional contact hours for wastewater operator licenses.  By attending these workshops, you could earn up to 14.5 DEP contact hours, or up to 17.5 Professional Development Hours, in just a few days!

Remember, workshops are available at no additional charge to those who register for the Full Conference using the Conference Registration Form.  Those who register for any category less than the Full Conference may add workshops for the fees listed on the Workshop Registration Form.  Seating is limited so you must register in advance to reserve your seat.

A very important part of the Conference is the Vendor Exhibition.  By visiting the exhibits, you will gain insight into new and innovative solutions and discover new products and equipment that will help you do your job in a more efficient and safer manner.  We encourage you to talk to the vendors about what is most important to you.

The Conference includes networking opportunities for you to meet and interact with your colleagues.  The Students & Young Professionals (SYP) Committee is organizing a Community Service Project on Sunday morning.  On Sunday afternoon, you and your family can enjoy "A Day at Hersheypark".  The President's Reception will be in the Exhibit Hall on Monday evening.  The Annual PWEA wards Ceremony and Reception will be held on Monday night.  The Beer & Pretzels Reception is on Tuesday afternoon and then "Raise Your Glass," the Wine Tasting/Food Pairing Event on Tuesday evening.

We believe the PennTec Conference will provide everything you need under one roof--education, vendor contacts, and networking.  We look forward to seeing you there!

A block of rooms is being held at the Hershey Lodge for Conference attendees. The block will close on May 2nd. For details about the hotel and how to make your reservation, see the Hotel Accommodations Information PDF.

For details about the Conference, download the PennTec 2018 Registration Program.  You can register online here or with the registration form included in the Program.
