2024 Effective Utility Management Workshop
“Your Path to Sustainability”

Conference Overview
This workshop will help utilities address a full range of challenges and move toward sustainable management of their operations and infrastructure.
- Conduct the EUM Self-Assesment the results from which participants can use to spark and support further dialog within their utility about areas for potential improvement and further use of the EUM framework.
- Equip participants to create an internal team and utilize the EUM framework to access utility conditions and create a plan for improving.
- Create an opportunuty to learn from the utility peers about their challenges, successes, and plans for improving in the future.
Utilities will learn how to make improvements in the Ten Attributes and Five Keys to Management Success, at a pace consistent with their most pressing challenges.
Target Audience
While the workshop contains content that is applicable to most utility employees, the main group that these workshops are geared towards are individuals with management responsibilities, including planning, who will be well poised to take their action plans generated from the workshop and implement those actions at their utility. Utilities are encouraged to send multiple members from different divisions within organizations to the Workshop to increase the understanding of EUM at the utility.

2024 EUM Prospectus
Registration
Member Pricing is $130
Non-Member Pricing is $150
Registration can only be made online. Payment can be made by credit card, or you can register online and then mail a check within 10 business days. The registration deadline is September 9th. On-site registration cannot be accepted.
A 3.5% technology fee will be added to all credit card transactions. The credit/debit card name and address information must EXACTLY match what is on record with the financial institution issuing the card; otherwise, the transaction will be declined. This is a security measure to prevent fraudulent activity. Credit card numbers are NOT stored by PWEA or the payment gateway vendor.
Cancelation & Substitution Policy
Cancelations received in writing 4 weeks prior to the date of the conference will receive a full refund less a $30 administrative fee. No refunds will be made after that date. Substitutions may be made until the registration deadline and must be made in writing, accompanied by a registration form for the substitute.
Continuing Education Credit
This workshop will have DEP Credit Hours.
Overnight Accommodations
Overnight accommodations are the responsibility of each individual. PWEA does not have room blocks in any area hotels.
